Thanks/To RLC

I'm feeling a little sentimental tonight. Things are finally looking up for me. My A is planning to go back to the U.S. to live, has a flight booked at the end of the month. This has me on a roller coaster of emotions-happy, sad, hurt, glad. But overall I know it's the best thing for both of us. I'm finally able to begin, SLOWLY, to look at a future for myself. I so wish I could share this news with Rodney. MIP has been a lifesaver for me. RLC was one of the people who welcomed me when I first found this place. We PM'd or emailed each other every few days. Even though we never met in person we became real friends. He sent me Alanon books and literature, I sent him coffee from our property that I picked and cleaned with my own hands. I am so thankful for that friendship. As I am so thankful for this place and everyone here. I truly don't know how I'd have made it through these last couple years without you.

(((((Pineapple)))))  It isn't so hard to bring Rod's spirit back to life.  He is real and was even more so when we talked via phones.  What a good man with a great spirit.  What ever chance you have...duplicate him.

You needing any other literature or stuff?   ((((hugs)))) smile

¨What ever chance you have...duplicate him.¨ Yes, that's the best way I know of to honor his friendship and keep his spirit alive.
Jerry, I don't need literature or anything, except this place and HP, which I already have. But thanks so much for asking.

Hi pineapple,

It's nice to read your post. Rodney befriended many on MIP. He was pure inspiration to many. I'm so glad you connected with him.

What he did for you, pay it forward when the opportunity arises. That's the best way to honor him, I think.

Keep us posted on your progress. Also, let us know if you need anything. We realize that you are out of the country.

Take good care, Gail
