My first Al-Anon Convention......

Hi,

A couple of days ago I attended my first Al-Anon convention, I've been to an AA one before but I didn't get much from it.  But on Sunday a small group of us drove the several hours to this convention.  It was so uplifting and something one of the speakers shared really resonated with me. 

I just wanted to share that going to an Al-Anon convention was really helpful & uplifting for me and the rest of my group.

I hear ya , I have attended 5 AA International conventions , and 2 Al-Anon Internationals .. I am in British Columbia Canada and 2013 we in Vancouver BC are hosting the next Al-Anon International I am starting to get excited now as they are reaching out for volunteers from our Province . I agree with you Al-Anon internationals are amazing , much smaller than the AA ones I have attended so therefor more intimate .. glad you enjoyed your convention. Louise

The AlAnon Conventions that I have attended are filled with powerful meetings, much fellowship and  wonderful Spiritual Overtones.
