some fear

Last night our open AA meeting was on fear. I started to share on fear & ended up getting back to gratitude. I guess sometimes I am afraid like of the unknown. I know that I will be OK no matter what happens & that God is in control & that I don't have to be afraid. I just don't want to suffer. My health is getting extremely better. I am barely suffering from the arthritis. I am going to try to get in w/ the rhumatologist on Friday & make a day of it w/ a friend. I hope she can go. I really like to spend time w/ her--she is one of the coolest people I know & she is in the program. We will have so much to talk about & the long ride another 60 miles will be good for both of us.

So, I have things to look forward to & have plenty of time to do all the things I want to do.

It is going to be a scorcher up here in my neck of the woods for a few days. I think I will be feeling what a lot of you are going through all over the U.S. especially back East.

Hang in there everyone! The future will be bright because God is already there!

Kathleen

Thanks for the positive message Kathleen.

I like the thought that:  " Courage is Fear that has said it's Prayers".  I was always "Afraid " to  admit my Fear and covered it up with Anger and blame.  Alanon gave me  more powerful tools that enabled me to own my fear and do it anyway!!!.

Prayer, Trust HP own the fear and take the next right action.

Courage is another a wonderful gift of this Program and HP.
