Happy Mothers Day

to all the mother here who have ever loved and cared for children whether their own or those of others like myself.  I am always grateful beyond words to the women of early Al-Anon who took me into their hearts and care and were patient as I stumbled on flat ground and walk into walls in bright light because I didn't know and didn't know that I didn't know what was wrong with me and my life.   Some have left this life and live on now within me and some are still out there affecting others as they affected me giving me first back my life and then the willingness and instructions on how to live it propertly and then that pat on the butt to "get out and work it...get out of my kitchen!!".

My heart is with you all and my face is turned upward to Akua...my Higher Power and I pray and plead that not one gift that Akua has to give is left ungiven to you all.

I was once told by the women of Al-Anon that I had to get in touch with my "female side" and I resented and rejected that suggestion until I was afraid of not doing everything and anything necessary to gain and maintain my serenity.  What a powerful asset for a man to have and use...his female side.  It took and takes much more strength and power to live in this character than I could have ever imagined and yet...I am beyond words of gratitude.

I honor you all and am inspired by many of you here to keep coming back...listen, learn and practice.

Bless them all Akua `O kalani.  Mahalo Nui.  ((((hugs)))) smile

Jerry,
You are just precious.
If you weren't so old and so big, I'd try to adopt you.
Hugs,
Temple

Thanks Jerry. I told my three sons that I gave them the gift of alcoholism and addiction.
