I had to learn how to stay in the moment before she got home again, when she got home again and every day there after...I learned it in the F2F groups.
I hope you were able to find some way to become at least a bit less anxious yesterday, Daisy. I, too, live with a very high level of anxiety and I'm trying to learn how to just 'let it go', as you will often hear on this board.
In fact, I was just starting to feel extremely anxious about my AH coming home from work this afternoon (he should already have been here... what is he doing... is he drinking right now... what will walk in the door... etc...), so I decided to hop onto the board for a few minutes. Truly, I'm finding that just coming to this board and reading over a few of the postings can really, really help to calm me down. Well, maybe just avoid the obvious ones where other people indicate in the title that they're stressed too!
I think the more you come to this board, the more you'll realize what an amazing, wonderful resource it is. Wishing you peace today.
