Hello Everyone. We do NOT have enough people willing to facilitate meetings on the Al-Anon site. We are currently covered Mon-Fri mornings and evenings. Hooray to each of you!!!
Weekends are a Big problem, and this is a time of the biggest need for meetings! I Believe, we are ALL accountable and responsible to maintain the meeting room. Passing the buck where you are served just is not acceptable. So, in the spirit of giving back a small portion of what has been poured into you...will you please sign up for a meeting time once a month on the weekends? Not quite sure how to keep a calendar up front for everyone, but will try.
If each of us did this, we can make sure there will Never be a "no meeting today" time when someone comes into the room sorely in need of a meeting! Thank You....looking forward to seeing what we can all do together to protect the room and those who use it and need it!
A minimum of 6 Months Active AlAnon is required and not being in crisis. No special OP features needed on your pc. Just do a simple moment of silence, the Serenity Prayer...let those present chose 3 topics, close with a moment of silence, the Lords Prayer etc. Appoint someone to watch the door and great new comers...as the sayng goes, "It works, If you work it!".

I will head it up and I want every one who is Blessed by this site to take some measure of responsibility for it! It is a small thing to commit to once month to serve those who need it, as you have been served and ARE currenty served even by these boards. So, I will continue to tell everyone, this small but real prolem belongs to us all. and we all together can fix it. If you are even wondering if you could, I am telling you....You Can!!! Those in the room will encourag you and support you. You can do someone a good turn here and not get found out!!! This is because NO ONE Knows YOU!:) We could come face to face on the street and even talk still not knowing who each other is. Thanks For being here, and for taking a leap of faith!
I will add, if anyone is interested in Chairing any of the available day or night meetings, to Please contact John with your availability. This way he is aware of who is open to chair, who is already a regularly scheduled chairperson for that given day or night, and can offer you some hints/idea's if there is no OP in the room during your chair position.
