I need some well wishes, good thoughts and prayers for any who will offer them! I am going to a job interview and to look at 2 apartments. This move is 1 month away and I am just shocked I am taking my girls and I to a new town with nobody there that I know and I am staying in motion and feeling hopeful about it. When did I become so courageous? I have had so many gossipy people in my small town ask and say the dumbest things about me moving and I have just kept my boundaries and moved on. I know God has me and is steering me, but I need alittle miracle or 2 to fall into place soon. Thanks all ahead of time for being here! Sending you all love and support on your journey's!

Your name says it all :) What Wonderful News, & Recovery you are Working... I Will indeed Pass on Loving Prayers your way for you & yours Familys New Journey... And Good for you for not letting the Small town "Ick" Change your Mood or your Plans...
I"m a Small town Girl Myself, and sometimes just seeing how the "Other 1/2" lives is enough to break the Cycle of the small town drama... It sure was a Blessing for me on my First place out of my Home town... I Didn't Stay... But what i Learned I know was All God Given... And i am Very Grateful for the experierance & friendships I made when "I" decided I Needed a Change ;)
Good For you... & No Worry's... With HP Steerin the Way, I have Know Doubt You will Fly on Your Journey.... Good Luck Friend...
I do hear courage , serenity and wisdom in your posting. HP is with you and will give you an abundance of these assets to walk with you as you move into your new life
I used to think, "When I feel confident, then I'll do X and Y." My therapist put it to me another way: "When you do X and Y, then you'll feel confident." It was true! I think back on things that terrified me and realize that a lot of them are now second nature. But I didn't realize that feeling trepidatious is part of everybody's process when they do something new. The people who never feel anxiety are the ones trapped in their tiny zone. (And staying in my tiny zone never made me feel that much better anyway, I have to say.) You are an inspiration. Do come back and tell us how it went!
A fresh start! Courage is feeling the fear and doing the thing anyway. You got this! Blessings are on the way for you!

I have a second interview next week and a showing for an apartment the same day. I am hopeful, but tired today! I need to go read my daily readers and work up a gratitude list! Thanks for all the love, prayers and support!!!

Keep the faith Karen - I was reminded recently of the "mustard seed" - if we have faith as much as in a mustard seed, we can move mountains. And mustard seeds are small! I sometimes run down the list of things I want in my mind, say "Thy will be done" and try to move on with my day remembering that I've already asked, so I have to have faith that whatever comes is what is meant to be (and I have to accept the answer, dern it). Just doesn't come on MY time schedule most times.
Cheers!
