I went on a sentimental journey this morning--opened up a box of my dad's belongings today. None of it was just "stuff" it all had meaning & some really awesome memories. I am so proud of him for his service to the U.S. government for over 35 years--I got his plaque which I have now that I am sure he cherished until his passing in December. I am just so grateful that I can hold on to a part of him. He is sorely missed & his legacy will live on through me & my other family members!
celebrate him Kath...get him a thank you cake and some ice cream and then eat a bowl of it for him...Okay I'll do that and you can have one of your own. Trying to be helpful and supportive. ((((hugs))))
MMy dad died over 11 years ago and I still sit in his falling apart lazy boy chair in my livingroom. I understand and very much agree! Sending you love and support!
