I wish I could talk about my job in here. But, legally, I'm not allowed to go into detail. And since we are all anonymous, one of you could be my boss  and I'd never even know it. All I can say is that I work with low bottom alcoholics and addicts and that some of them are personal friends of mine that I either met before they came to our facility or that I got to know after they came there. Some of them came from the streets and night shelters, some of them are mandated by the court system. I can also say that tomorrow I might have to do something that isn't sitting very well with me. The only positive side to it all is that I might not have to do it. So tonight I can put the matter in gods hands and pray for knowledge of his will and that I have the power to carry that out.

Thanks for just being here.

The thing that comes to me is that one can sometimes be coerced or coaxed to do something that is against the law....of our country or state.

Once that action is taken one cannot undo it.

And trouble will follow.

I know you are struggling with this.

Just an update. I managed to survive the incident. I will still need to make the decision but I have another week to prepare for it and hopefully I can do it in as professional and as delicate a manner as possible. It looks to be that it will be okay so thanks for the love and support and for allowing me to be weak and vulnerable in your presence. :)

Good news I am glad that HP pointed the incident into a different direction. 

 I hear you about being vunerable and I do believe that Alanon gave me the ability to be human and vunerable  It is a gift.

Well the al-anon family is here for you.. but more importantly your higher power... your faith in your higher power is inspiring to me. I hope that if you do have to do that thing you dread you know you can get through it. hang in there!
