My spouse and I work for the same outfit. She is hourly and I am on contract which allows me to be outside taking care of their property and just enjoying all the lovely HP artwork. It is a hotel and I come in contact with some of the guest from time to time both men and women. I tell my wife about all of the interesting meets I have including one recently where two women on vacation were remarking how beautify the semi-enclosed garden looked to them. I joke that the leaves that fall on the ground are special and sacred and they should take as much as they want (most people get this joke right off) and one of the ladies said "how about me just taking the gardener home with me and not the leaves". I mentioned that she was wanting me to go take care of her property and she responded "thats not what I had in mind." Okay I get it and I won't follow the line of thought. My wife listened to me and smiled a bit and I went off to work. ...an hour later when she gets to work she comes up to me with a smile on her face and tells me "I'm gonna pee on your leg" and I start to laugh..."why are you going to do that?" I ask and she replies "to mark my territory so other women will know you are taken." I laughed very hard at how funny that picture looked and then was grateful that she is handling the bad effects of a husband who use to cheat on her before we me. I think she got the "marking" picture from our pups.
Just what I needed to Get Off my Lazy butt and get something Done... A Nice Laugh Seems to Rejuvenate Me ... So Thank you...
I don't have anything to top that, just a Few, Jiggles when Dealing with a very opinionate teenage son... His Sarcasm (Don't know what he gets that from) Sometimes about knocks me to my knees, and then with the evil grin, its sometimes All that I Need...
I Love that your Wife can see Humor in things, I think sometimes that is All that keeps me afloat on some of the tougher days... That & Hope & Faith in HP....
My funny of the day. My revised Cinderella codie complex had a great laugh as I played with my nephew. I try to make his Mom/sister at the hospital have to stay with Jenny times especially fun, noisy and dirt filled to balance the quiet, clean atmosphere he sometimes has to participate in. So we went to a fabulous park with a huge wooden structure designed like a rambling castle. I climbed to the top of a turret and was appreciating the work it took to build this thing when I heard this little voice down below .... I'm coming to save you princess. My 4 year old knight in shiny armor has arrived
My mom had joined us and later she was telling me how hard it was not to laugh as he kept asking her ... where is my princess ... every time I was hidden from sight.
I guess the funniest thing was my kids of course .. lol .. it's the kids birthdays this weekend and we were having our birthday breakfast at McD's this AM. Pancakes only platter please :) I have been teasing my son that birthdays for the family were cancelled this year. He was not pleased with this idea and the subject of age came up. So my son says yup Mom you're going to be 104 this year!!! My daughter slyly says I'm thinking 47 (I'm not there yet .. lol). I said nope not close. My daughter says, .. Mom .. my friends can't believe that I don't know the age of my OWN mother!! I laughed and said ask your brother he's closer. To which I hear his voice pipe in .. Mom .. my friends do NOT believe that you are a 103 .. I said .. well I'm aged to perfection .. lol.
They both shake their heads and we moved on with the conversation
Hugs P :)

Grandson (age 10) now feeling modest looks the bathroom door like Fort Knox while going potty, all the while we are all outside on the patio..Grampa, myself (Grandma) & his 14 yr old sister. Window in the bathroom wide open and looking down onto the patio. Grandson keeps standing up from the pot to make cheesy faces and say silly things to get our laughs and attention, we laugh he's cute and fun to be around. Suddenly mood changes when he realizes he's out of toilet paper...barely able to unlock the bathroom door and open it wide enough to let us hand in a roll ...all the while our little pug dog walking in the bathroom and back out...grandson must have been standing on both hands with his legs up on the bathtub to keep his shyness hidden...appears sideways like the cartoon books "Where is Waldo". Kids are cute at that age. He's a hoot.
