hello all, seems that while I am steady trying to regain my footing life keeps happening...As I've shared my daughter surrendered on March 2 and began detoxing/recovering fom a significant stint with heroin..Thank you God for this 24 hrs...went to visit Sun and attended a family meeting that was amazingly raw and real and much needed for us all. Last night I received a phone call from the police that my oldest son 17yrs had been arrested and was being detained to please arrive asap...he was in posession of enough marijuana and a scale to be charged with posession with the intent to sell, trafficing charges and to boot he was stopped less than 500 yds from a park, which is an automatic 1 yr sentence here in Pa, breathing...functioning on 3 hrs sleep, and in much need of some me time to regoup and reenerate. thanks for listening, soft paths ~ Carla

Hello family ;) Gosh it feels so good to be here reading !! I always feel so much better after a visit to this board or a drop in into the rooms here!! An update to life here in PA...My daughter transitioned into a sober living home last Sun. I've gone to visit and shes doing great this 24 hr, but as we all know its a min at a time,hr at a time and a day at a time...Thank you God for this 24...I spent the morning with her yesterday as I went to visit and we took a drive for a bit on a rainy day, and she was able to put in a few more applications for jobs ;) I am so proud of her and her courage and commitment she has decided to make to help herself... my son is doing ok, and has since found a little part time job as well... my other two kiddles are enjoying the beginning of Spring and the longer days for daylight and baseball season has begun, so WE are pumped!!! its so refreshing to watch the younger two being kids getting excited about kid things, I knew there was a reason I (God) spaced them out in years!!! He knew best!!! lol When I think about it 20,17,11,5..its almost two or rather is two different generations..but its all gooooooooooooooood , thanks for the love and support, love to all ;)
