Took a break, but not really

I took a break from focusing on my work with recovering abf and focused on my kids. Was good, worked on boundaries with teenage boy who thinks he's man of the house, and I listened to some requests he had and agreed - but we did have one short blow out first. Learning! Then made both teen boys draw up their own agreement / rule set to end arguments over sharing video games and they are on notice I will sell it if the arguments continue (they already know I mean what I say :) Youngest and I worked through some of his anger management issues (has a father with the same) and he did pretty well. And I read my books, hung up a new tv in my room and was pretty proud of myself LOL. Sometimes you have to take a break from focusing on one thing too much!

It is truly soooo easy to become way to focused and driven in any one arena. What a great way to spend the day!! I love moments like that with the kids!

Hugs P :)
