I did a foolish thing tonight!  But I'm swallowing my pride because I don't want this to happen to any of you!

I got scammed and now my data on my computer is open to this horrible people with an Indian accent.

I've reported it to the police, credit cards companies have cancelled our cards and I'm hitting the banks first thing tomorrow morning. Then I'm taking my computer to a guy that will check to see if my computer is infected.  I'mready to burn the sucker (laptop) in the woodstove tonight.

I'm so mad at myself.  My gut was nearly screaming HANG UP.  But I was so gulliable tonight.

I'll be changing my email account which will likely resut in me having to delete this MIP account and start another one.

I'll be back as soon as I can.  check out the video and warn others.  I'm usually not gulliable.  Weak tonight.   SILENT SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gail, this is awful! From what I've read online many, many people believed this was for real and went along with it. So don't be too hard on yourself. We can't be on guard and vigilant all of the time. It's good to hear you've got a plan for damage control. And thank you so much for sharing this information so others can learn from it. Best of luck, come back as soon as you can!

Hey it happens to the best of us! My friends friend had someone pretend they were her other good friend, used her email too??? then told her they were stuck in London and to please email money. She did!!! Then later they asked for more.Finally friend got suspicious and it was all a scam!!!
