Meditation - A Pathway to Inner Peace - Interested?

Some people watch TV; I watch youtube videos.

I ran across a youtuve video this evening that I think takes the woo-woo out of meditation.

So many think it's where you wrap yourself in a loin cloth and lie on a bed of nails  wink  Okay, I'm stretching the truth.  But you get my drift.

This young woman seems to be able to explain it in simple terms abd gives some tips on how to successfully meditate.  Like everything else, it's a process.

My meditation practice gets better - slowly - but is progressing.

Interested?  Here's the link:

If you have ants in your pants, then skip the first 7 and a half minutes (go to 7:30)  I think it's the "meat" of her point she is striving to make.

I'll definitely check it out, since I have never been able to successfully meditate -- can't shut off my whirling thoughts for a second.

Yep, if one just focused on his or her breathing, it'll bring him or her in the moment.

Usually, the moment is managable and not scary.  It's our thoughts that scare the hell out of us.  smile
