I appreciate this woman's talents. I viewed a few youtube videos on her; she was being interviewed. I also love her unpretentiousness (spelling?).

Just wanted to add....

I especially like the line "setting me free" from the song "Learning to Live."

We have to set our self free - no one else can do it.

One way to learn to set yourself free is in the rooms of Al-Anon. Listening and sharing in the rooms (meetings) will gradually teach you to be free to be you.

Another one of my favorite songs by her is "Like You." So many of us are trying to fit in, be what we think others want us to be.......a kind of suicide if you ask me.

Thanks to counseling and Al-Anon I'm learning to live & finding the courage to be me - and accept that some will not approve. It's quite okay. Thanks Al-Anon!
