information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal

Just wrapping up a wonderful Christmas in a sober home, with my family around, most of the bills paid, a few nice things under the tree for the kids. I am so blessed. After the many years of struggling against this disease, I still have to pinch myself to see if I am really awake.
I have all I want, a nice boring drama-free day with loved ones. Even a decent call with my Dad where I took the reins and asked him about his life and didn't wait for him to ask about mine. He won't and I accepted that for today. Makes life a lot easier when I can do that. I am blessed to have him, warts and all.
I wish peace and serenity to you all.
