information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I was raised on Apple products, so I don't know about other areas to look online. I'm sure there are .. lol .. I haven't at this point looked.
If you have a computer you don't have to have an iPod. The podcasts are downloadable straight to the computer through an iTunes account. It's all free, there is no cost to download and listen to them.
There are a bunch of great speakers from conventions and some of the things they share, hit me between the eyes and then some. Lots of great ESH, lots of laughter, most of all a LOT of hope.
I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to use the free tool of the podcasts it can help lift a day or get through to the next meeting. More importantly sometimes it's just what the dr ordered as far as getting out of a funk.

Pushka- that sounds great, I would love to hear these speakers. I have a really S L O W internet connection, I wonder if I would be able to download them. I don't have an ipod, would have to put them on my computer. Where does one find these podcasts you mentioned?
If you are able to download them you don't need the internet to listen to them. I don't know how that would work being you are where you are. Are you on a dial up connection because that could take a LONG time!! Once they are there .. it's a piece of cake and no interent needed at that point.

iTunes is on apple.com and you download the that program and set up an account. The other option is to search online and see if there is something you can listen to directly .. again the internet connection in that case would make a difference. If you can watch Youtube you should be able to listen to podcasts that are direct links.

There is also XA Speakers on line if you don't have Itunes or an Ipod. XA Speakers has alanon, AA and all the other 12 step groups to listen to. :) Great idea!

Actually, I have trouble even watching Utube videos. But I'm going to try it later tonight. (For some reason I usually get better speed late at night.) Thanks for your help, I'll let you know how it goes.
