wow, so I called the apple help line and they actually told me to find the webmaster and ask them if I have to reconfigure settings so the new imac can enter the chat room... does anyone know how I can enter chat?

When you try to enter it should come up with some instructions as to why it won't let you proceed. Follow the steps if it does tell you what is stopping you.

During the past hour I have been able to get into the chat room at times and other times it will not allow me to enter, so I do think there is a problem. I left John a message a few minutes ago about the problem. I feel sure it will be taken care of within a short time.
