post acute withdrawal syndrome

I have read a lot about this syndrome and its impact in early recovery. One thing I read said that it can go up to two years, but, many times peaks in three to six months. If a small amount of alcohol is consumed (one or two drinks) does it undo all the healing in the brain and you start over again?

Hi
I am not sure exactly what part of the syndrome you are referring to? Seizures?
If he/she has done a withdrawal through a medical officer, then perhaps asking that person would be a good option.
addiction is not only physical, it has other aspects to it as well.
