Hello everyone,

We will be having the scheduled group business meeting tonight at 7 PM eastern time.  We are asking everyone who considers themselves a member of the group, be it by the message board, or by the chat room meetings to join us for this meeting.

1.  On tonight's agenda is a review of Op responsibilities, which can be read at http://www.12stepforums.net/or.html, (please review them prior to the meeting starting) and open the floor to any discussion related to them, or motions to modify them.

2.  Review our meeting chairperson schedule, and discussion related to any meetings that do not have a currently scheduled chairperson, nominate, elect, and/or ask members to volunteer to take those positions so that all meetings on our schedule have a delegated chairperson responsible for chairing them.

3. 15 minute discussion about Unity and the common welfare of the whole group.  Tradition 1.

4. Nominate and elect a new Business Meeting chairperson responsible for holding the meeting on the first Sunday of each month, nominate and elect a Group secretary to take the minutes of the Business meetings, and make them available to the group members via email and message board.

 5.  General Discussion about what we as a group can do to make the MIP Al-Anon Group more attractive and helpful to both the newer members and older members who find their way to our site.

Please join us for this meeting.  This ensures that group policy is established by the majority instead of the minority.
