Thanks for all your responses...believe me I appreciate them.  I haven't been around too much lately as you no doubt have gathered.  I have been very, very busy locating a lovely home in Florida of which I took ownership on last Tuesday.  Sold the condo in Hawai'i as my children wanted me closer to them.  That's hard to do as they are flung all over the country..lolol  I will be moving into the new house within a matter of 10 days or 2 weeks.  Very excited!!!  If you are a friend on Facebook and would like to see, I'll send pix.

Things here have been good.  A has not had a drink in the better part of a year.  I am proud of him beyond measure.  Of course it is a day to day situation...it always is.  I never say never.

I'll be checking in from time to time and even more often once I am settled.  Consider yourselves warned!!!! I send great love and concern for all of you.  You are never far from my mind.
