good things out of sadness

I have been wanting connection to my family all the way up here 900 miles away. It is seeming to happy but maybe be slowly. I can wait longer because it is so worth it! I have been able to talk to my precious step-sister & she is very lonely for her mom.

The service went well from what I heard. Wished I could be there. They said something about me so I felt like I was there in a way.

One of my friends told me to light a candle & pray. I did & even listened to Barbara Striesand one of her all time favorite artists. She loved the song Evergreen by Barbara. I think it was her favorite song. I wish I had it but at least I have some of her classics. Anyhow, I only spent about 45 mins while I reflected & prayed. It was while the service was going on so I felt connected. I am so grateful for my HP for giving me friends who supported me & gave ME flowers. They knew I needed them. I am so happy to be in a place where I can try to let go. Let go & Let God.

Thanks for being there for me.

Kathleen

I know you would have preferred to be there at the service.  You were so very creative to honor her memory in manner you did.  I think you are doing just great!
