Do any of you use the chat room either for meetings or general chat? I have been on there a couple of times but the meetings don't seem to happen at regular times even though regular times are posted. I'd like to attend more meetings but as many of you do, find it difficult to drive to a meeting and would like to meet online occasionally.
What do you all think about the online meetings here? Do you go to the chat room at all?
I get to the online meetings two or three times a month. Guess I've just been lucky, they've ALMOST all started on time. I don't use the chat room much. Usually when I go on, there's no one there to chat with, lol!
Sometimes I would go on and it would start and other times it was maybe a few minutes late. One time after about 15 min of waiting, I just said " I am going to start the meeting by reading the serenity prayer" I didn't have the scripts or anything, nor was I a mod. but I needed a meeting and it turned out really nice. I would say if people are there, and no one starts, from what I understand you can start it.

I've went to 4 or 5 of the online meetings.... I agree that they are usually about a half and hour late...lol But that's a good time to just chat!! I've found that it is well worth the wait!!
