I have been tired never went to my meeting last night stayed home watched tv. this morning I was tired thought I am not going to my sat morn meeting having a lie in. when my alarm went off i turned it off, it went off again, i turned it off. then a knock at the door It was really early I got up it was the postman with a parcel for next door but their car was there they werein. I look for Hps guidance now so I said o.k I am up I will go to my meeting.

A newcomer came in late when she shared her story all I could see was how she was neglecting herself, how she was dieing for love. My heart went out to her then it was in that moment that I realsied how much al anon has given me today little by little my self love and esteem is returning. I shared with th newcomer what i had recieved .
I hope she comes back. I am glad Hp got the post man to get me up.

Sometimes I feel so uncomfortable when a newcomer comes in, I'm talking about knowing the kind of pain and discomfort they are in and knowing I never ever want to go back there and then being able to share the gift of it getting better makes all the difference in the world. If they are ready to they come back and in that instant I know I'm going to be ok because seeing someone else transform during that time is amazing.

Aloha Tracy...Your Higher Power is soooo imaginative knows just exactly how to get you up and get you going to a meeting you need to be at to hear just the person you need to hear. HP is more cunning, powerful and baffling than the disease HUH?
Consider also that HP got the right person out of bed at the right time to the right place to meet and listen and talk to the right person who needed to hear her ESH.
You know it seemed like your HP was throwing spiritual pennies at your window with the alarm clock, when you shut it off. Then He started throwing rocks when the postman came knocking.
There are no mistakes in Gods world my friend. You were meant to go to that meeting and share with the newcomer. I am glad you went to pass on some of your E,S,&H.
