Amazing young woman! This changed the outlook of my day! I am no longer letting anyone abuse or misuse me! I am no longer choosing to be a vicitm and suffer for it!
This is very heartbreaking. I see the effects of bullying all the time. Kids are sly; they seldom allow adults observe them mistreat others. How I wish part of the curriculum was teaching civility. It's quite difficult to teach them the 3 R's when they (not all) have poor self-esteem.

GM, .. part of the reason I love where my kids go to school is they get to experience a conflict resolution class. It's done through the book of Mark and Timothy in the bible .. I don't understand why the same concept (conflict resolution) couldn't be taught secular as well. We all NEED a conflict resolution course in college. The kids in my daughters class benefited greatly from it because something that was also discussed was bullying and what it does to individuals. More importantly they were taught how to address it with their peers, while being respectful and knowing they have a right to be heard. It's not to say they all don't have moments of great stupidity (immaturity whatever .. lol), it's resolved and people move on without carrying stuff around. Teachers can't be everywhere and sometimes those little buggers just know when and how to strike when no one is watching that is at any school.
