When I'm feeling all mopey and gloomy, nothing irritates me more than a funny joke that makes me laugh when I don't want to.
That being said, a coworker told me this joke last week, and it irritated me TWICE! Once when he told me right in the middle of me trying to indulge in feeling like a victim, and then again about 10 minutes ago when I remembered it and shot the water I was trying to drink through my nose.
It raised my spirits; I hope it does yours as well.
Ok, enough preambles . . . the joke:
A mamma kitty just had a litter of kittens when one of her babies came up to her and said, "Mama, why am I named butterfly, Mama?"
Mama Kitty said, "That's because when you were born a BEAUTIFUL butterfly fluttered down and landed delicately on your precious little nose!"
"Oh, that's sweet, Mama! Thanks!" said the kitten, and purred off happily.
Another kitten heard this, looked up and asked, "Why am I named Dewdrop, Mama?"
Mama answered, "Well, you were born under a rose bush, and right after you were born, a perfect dewdrop, glistening in the morning sun, rolled off of a rose petal and landed with a splash on your nose!"
The kitten giggled and thanked her Mama.
Just then a THIRD kitten looked up and said, "MAAAHAHHJJUAAE!", to which Mama scolded, "Can it, Cinderblock!"
God Bless, and my apologies in advance if that was inappropriate for this forum.
Lol thanks for the giggle. We are back to having 3 kittens in the yard yet again. My favorite one should be named cinder block he's a nut!! ;)
