I have found a better nickname for me and where I am at in my growth in Al-anon. Someone once said I am no longer a flop and I must agree. So I will be reregistering and making a new come back. I am wishing everyone much growth in their own programs as well. Here is to turning over a new leaf! Sending you all much love and support for the last time as flopadopilus.

Okay, but Shhh don't tell anybody, hahaha! Code word Breakingfree Otie.
I haven't decided whether I am ready to come out of my chrysalis so I am staying in awhile longer. I loved this picture since I used to raise monarchs on our milkweed garden.
I am turning over a new leaf, had I known when I was 18 and got a heart with wings tattood on my ankle and when I was 25 a caterpillar eating a leaf over my exAH's name, how could I have known it would all have such meaning in my recovery many years later.
Life is what you make of it and mine is pretty darn good. With my HP in charge I can smile and shake off most things. I can't wait until my wings are ready to take flight and I am just so excited to know I have a future without all the crisis, chaos and misery of the old.
Thanks everyone from MIP. I definitely have the attitude of gratitude for my growth has come from so many people reaching out through Al-anon. I am more than a survivor and I choose to be a victim no more. I will keep on working my program with my HP whom I choose to call God in the driver's seat! Sending you all love and support on your journey.

Well young lady, my heart sank to my toes when I opened up the main page of this site and read, "Goodbye to flopadopilus." I thought you were literally leaving us.

Theres a book that I read with my kids called "Hope for the flowers" that is about a caterpillar figuring out the meaning of life, and finally letting go of trying to figure it out and going into his crysallis and becoming a butterfly that finally because of letting go, learns the meaning of life... very cool about the tattoos... :) Glad you are still here!

GREAT JOB... I did the same things I Came here as "Missing Out" and Once I got here for a while, and Allow HP back in my Life, or at Least accepted HP's pressents ... I was Def. No Longer Missing Out!!! You Did Good, Way to Move Forward
