Blast from the past, I've slipped so many times in my recovery. I've read some of my past posts and I see how much of my own roller coaster of recovery has been. I need to get help. I wanna be that girl I was in some of my old posts. I'm at square 1 again.
I am at step 1 every morning. I myself have not woken up recovered from the effects of alcoholism. I find my serenity comes from working the steps on a daily basis, taking small actions so that I can have a daily reprieve from my thinking.
The program works if you work it. Welcome aboard again, there is plenty of room here on step one. Its the best place to be, powerlessness.
The best thing about alanon is you can always start at the beginning again. :) Keep coming back and it's ok to start each day at step 1!

Keep coming Sincerely... hope you have meetings to get to and a sponsor to call. My sponsor told me that we begin every day at step 1. We are powerless over alcohol and if we think we aren't our lives will be unmanageable... HUGS! Glad you are here and back!
