The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
I have frequented other message boards from time to time, but I'm put off by the language used and the negativity.
It's very comforting to know that I can come here to read, learn and share my ES&H without having to overlook any of the language that most people wouldn't use when speaking in public.
MIP's moderators do a fantastic job. Thank you for your fine service. It's much appreciated.
I encourage others to join me in expressing appreciation for our moderators.

Gail, I agree whole heartedly!!!! And they are quick on the draw to delete posts that shouldn't be here advertising other websites or what not :) It feels nice here. Like I am at an alanon meeting for real :) Thanks for posting this Gail!

I must agree. We don't allow salty language in our face to face meeting rooms at all. It is out of love and respect of one another. I have wandered on to other boards and have found what Gail said to be very true.
Thank you all who moderate and appropriately **** or censor language that may turn a newcomer or oldtimer off from a message that needs to be shared.
Many thanks and much appreciation here, too! This site is as much a godsend as the program and Steps themselves!
