I had a wonderful time at the week long mountain conference.  It was the first time I have attended a conference that had programs for the entire family.  AA, Alanon, Alateen, and pre alateen meetings each and every day.  There were over 500 people that showed up for the conference with speakers from across the country each night, meetings in the morning and workshops in the afternoon.  Probably one of the best experiences I had was attending two discussion meetings on the mountain at/above 10K feet.   People from both programs were present sharing their E,S, & H.  It truly was a profound spiritual, emotional, and physical experience for me.    

I really enjoyed the weather about 70ish during the day, and 40's at night.  It really  beat the Texas heat of temps above 110.   But, I am so glad to be home with so many new friends and fond memories of the experiences I had there.

I am so glad you had a wonderful week.....being part of a program with all members of kindred spirit is more than fulfilling.

I am a little jealous for two reason......one because I wasn't there......and two because I forgot what 70 degrees feels like !!
