Aloha MIP Family...just got thru reading Annie M's post on the Alcoholic taking her Xanax meds and am in the process again of reading the Publication Al-Anon Faces Alcooholism which is very very informative and supportive of awareness for the spouse, relative or friends and associates of an alcoholic.  This isn't a "generally informative" piece of Al-Anon literature but a "specifically informative" one.  It is highly contrasted and contains many perspectives of the disease and the recommendations toward Al-Anon from professionals in the medical and counseling fields.   I hadn't been into it for a long time and decided to again rather than to use TV to use up my time.

Check it out on the afg.org/literature site or Amazon or the Library.  Might be great to have in your personal library too.

I am a big fan of used books.  I got my copy of Al-Anon fces alcoholism, second edition  for $2.98 should anyone be looking for a bargin.  Check out Amazon.com.
