Last night at a meeting, the topic was on listening. One member shared something that I never heard before. She said when she notices that she might be talking too much, she remembers the acronym WAIT. Some members in the know, laughed. But then newbies, me included, were perplexed. Then she explained:
WAIT = why am I talking.
