This may been a little premature but I am going to CA to see my family especially my DAD & sister!
Plans are being made as I am writing this--my mom already made flight reservations & I am leaving on the 10th of May & coming back on the 17th! I am excited & nervous at the same time. My mom made the reservations before I could sit down & plan my return but I am grateful that she is willilng to help me pay for the flight & put up w/ me on the trip there but I am kinda nervous about the flight home--I haven't flown alone for many years. I am just glad that I get to go at all!
My dad is still very ill, too. He may have a tumor in his stomache area & may have to get a biopsy today. We will be waiting for a couple of days for the results as well. He is very nervous & scared & talks very negatively about even getting better--he doesn't want to hurt his kids but sometimes I think he wants to give up! I just hope me coming down later might cheer him up when he does recover--got a month to go so I am confident that I will get to see him in better spirits!
All y'all who care: I thank you for putting up w/ my babbling all these years! I love you all & hope God blesses you today & always! Only positive thoughts from here!
Polish up your recovery Hoot and make sure to pack it with you before you go. Say Aloha to all the "CAer" for me when you get there...It was where recovery started for me. Nice to be there for your Dad huh? (((((hugs)))))
That's so wonderful that you can visit you dad and other family members. I'm not certain what part of CA you are visiting. I live in the Central Valley, near the capitol. Right now the weather has been unusually chilly. But by May it will be warm and sunny.
Will you be near the coast? Some parts of the CA coast you can take long walks. Very healing.
Enjoy your visit!
