One Day at a Time

Woke up this morning with this song in my head, and wanted to share it with you all.  My favorite "recovery" song.  smile

Whats yours?

Thanks David for posting your favorite recovery song.  I'll have to show that to my ex someday.  He always liked the Eagles back then.

Here's one of the many of mine.  I like the lines: I'm gonna be my own best friend...and there is a stronger woman in me.

To share a youtube video, do the following:

1.  copy URL of youtube video

2. when replying to a post or beginning a new topic, click on "youtube" icon, located near the spellcheck icon.  A window should pop up (it's very small, found in upper left corner of monitor, and paste it.

3.  click and submit as usual

Thanks toChristy I learned how to do this just today.  thanks Christy - MIP's computer geek  wink

This is the best song when I am in the heat of a spiral that can pull me out everytime! I hope it is of some help to someone else.

Not a recovery song, just a sad song I've sung often to my AH.

This song just talking about the hurt thinking someone with "change", "getting stronger" helps me because that's what I'm trying to do.

Gravity, this is my other song I keep listening to during my recovery.  Talks about wanting to "not feel your rain" and "set me free" and being "torn & fragile".  That's how I feel trying to separate myself and not be codependent anymore.
