Hi family..........my long trip is over. Ive had no computer for the last 2 months on the road..... it was an old laptop and finally gave out. Ive missed checking in here at MIP and now have lots of catching up to do.

The trip has been healing for both husb & I....taking ourselves away from the disease for a while made us reflect on how attached and manipulated we still were by it all.

 NO, that wonderful ''complete sentence'' is going to be on our lips a lot more.

Im sad to report that after the (latest) 10 months in recovery our son has gone back out and has lost his sober living accommodation Thankfully he is not back living on the streets, he has a room for now. Hes not good apparently. We have been told he has become very ill again, very quickly. Not good.

Hate this disease so much.

Hello Dear Ness

I have missed you.  I am so glad you both  had the time to recoup and reflect.  The effects of thsi dreadful disease are very painful and time away essential.

I am very sorry to hear about your son's relapse  Prayers on the way
