Following the earthquake in Japan, the U.S. State Department "strongly urges U.S. citizens to avoid tourism and non-essential travel to Japan" through April 1.
I am suppose to be traveling to Japan on 3/25 to see my granddaughter, my son and his wife. My granddaughter will turn 1 year old on 3/27. I went to see her when she was 3 weeks old. They were suppose to come here at Christmas time but that was cancelled a few days before they were to come. It was due to sickness and some problems they were having in S Korea (my son is in the military). I was devastated and depressed for several months after. I decided I had to see my granddaughter so made plans to go for her birthday. Now this!!!!
I am so upset!
On a better note my older A son has been going to AA meetings and as far as I know has been sober for 2 weeks. Praise HP for him and that my family in Japan is safe.
Wow!! life has been busy around you G. You'll know what to do and happy that your son knew what to do also. 2 weeks...one day at a time. I hope he's getting hooked on sobriety. ((((hugs))))
