reflecting on my week...

and what a week it has been! birthdays to remember, time well spent, seeing people I love, enjoying (not really) cold temps. realizing that winter is still here!  Want SPRING so bad!

What a joy that my week has been even though I didn't attend my meetings--I am suffering for that in a way! I need to attend more than one meeting a week. But...since Feb. is so short, I still got enough meeings this month. Make any sense?

I am so grateful that my husband is not in the hospital although he fell on ice yesterday! I also fell yesterday at a fast food restaraunt trying to get out the door! I am at fault though!

I am so glad that I can stand on my own two feet & be somewhat independent since I don't drive & don't regret really getting my driver's license--all of you would appreciate that decision!

Now I am going to say that you all are so important to me: I wish I could post on here more often &
comment, too! For now this is all I got!
Kathleen

Thanks Kathleen for sharing your gratitude for the week! I too have had a doosy of a week! Daughter and mom got sick with a cold, and I still have mine. Blizzard snow melted off (grateful), but then we got 3 more inches Thursday night. Friday thought I was going to have to keep daughter home with cold (she hates to miss school!) but didn't have to make that decision, because school cancelled because of ice. Icy conditions today, but I made it to the grocery store, drug store, and Dollar General without mishap!

Feeling guilty because I have been to NO f2f meetings this month, due to snow and ice and f2f meetings being a 35 min. drive away on country roads. Yet, I'm grateful for this board and the meeting room here at MIP, so that I can "go" to a meeting on-line. Oh! And that reminds me...I need to place an order for my f2f home group for more literature (as I'm the literature chairperson), so I'm grateful for my service work!

I like the reflections...Kath take care of yourself and if you and your hubby need ice
cleats gettem.  OC I am also sitting here with the flu and I believe I got it from going
to meetings...Sleep, lay down watch TV ugh...do nothing much of anything else except
that with program nothing is unacceptable. It is what it is and that's okay.  Want to
read more and that makes me more sleepy.  Weather is gorgeous and I need to call
a customer to tell him I'm down until...?  Good time to be grateful cause complaints
use to only make it much worse.   Take care ((((hugs)))) smile
