Awe! Thank you! I am at work this morning by choice! A-Hubby is "suppose" to get some honey do's completed at home. I've accepted that the Christmas Lights may stay up until spring when I feel like taking them down myself.
A happy, stress-free weekend would be very nice. Thank you!
Sincerely's response reminded me of of the year my ex A enthusiastically covered our house with lights, but then well, left them. My solution? I grabbed the end I could reach and I yanked, over and over, having great satisfaction as they crashed to the ground leaving colored shards of glass all along the sidewalk and driveway.
That was pre-alanon. This year, now that I've been in program a while, I decided we didn't need lights at all this year, and you know what, it was okay. It was really okay, come January!
Ahhh, the power of program!
