ok stop it already I am learning

Being frugal, saving for the big first payment, or for having to go.

I use a nice little kerosene heater for heat.

We are having arctic cold here in Oregon. My heater just died. I could not get it to turn off. took it outside, took it apart with the fire going. burned my finger, not bad.

nothing to do, tried to smother it, didn't work. said g bye to my little source of heat for years, hosed it with water.

gads now what? Temps dropping into the 20's.

We learn when things are rough. Wish I knew what else i had to learn to get this over with.
gads, deb

Been there once and asked my HP for suggestions as I was stuck.  HP suggested
another blanket...That worked!!  HP keeps it simple with me.   ((((Debber))))

I'm sorry Debilyn.
Seems like when it rains it pours.

Hang in there. You are always an inspiration. Thank you for being here.

Jerry grama told me many times to just pull on another dog!

Danielle it would be too hard to fit us all under the electric blanket. lol

member oh its life hon.

Honestly it is life! Life just makes us have to do stuff. IF I had not of put it out with the water... I could have  ordered a part, or taken one off the other one I have that always smelled icky...BUT NOOOO. haha

Oh to heck with it, went to Home Depot and these two nice guys helped me and let me get one already put together.

Got a bit of groceries. OMGosh people sure go out on dec.31 huh? geez. got home and they had put a seven buck thing of fancy hamberger in my sack... I was way in another city to get the heater... they did not charge me. nothing I can do. I am a vegan....gave it to my neighbor/tenant.

Well good thing as it is 26' right now!dog behind my head two next to me one beside me and a cat thinking if she moves reeeeeeal slow i won't notice her trying to lay on me bumping my keyboard in my lap.... nice cozy fire going in the heater. started right up.

Well we may end up in a barn somewhere but we will be warm. haha

danielle we, dogs...and I sleep on a feather bed on top the regular mattress, then two feather comforters. then we sleep under a huge feather comforter. Believe me if we could live in my bed.... heaven.

some people don't realize you can wash and dry them. So I found such GREAT ones in thrift store for almost nothing.

Member sweetheart, honestly the list of my gratitudes and the blessing I have is huge. My life has been tough, really has, yet the good was and is soooo good.

I believe when things are tough, we learn. I think I am looking at what would it be like to have nothing. Maybe just for awhile. Out of the question now to do it as I LOVE my dogs, but if I did not have them. I honestly would rent a small storage thing, use my income to go to Africa. Just me.

Like to live with nothing but HP for awhile. Just "be."  Just learn, give uno?

ahhhhh had soy vanilla youghurt and hearts of palm for dinner.... mmmm

I have to admit I thought about A today. But the one before his surgery. Sure would love to hear him play his guitar and sing to me. I loved that.

Hold on to your memories, their all thats left you.  deb
