Well, I hate to even post this, they have switched the show so many times, but

the show on "Parental Abduction" with my daughter and I as guests, will air on 1/4/11.

Dr. Phil is on channel 2 in L.A. and his show is on at 4:00, I guess its different in your area.

Parental abduction is an important topic, as many children are stolen by their parents every year, especially while going thru divorce. This show also follows the storyline of John Clark, who was recently in the news, as he discovered where his children were after 15 years. My daughter was abducted in the early 70's when there were no laws. Now its a felony and the FBI get involved.  Interesting stuff.

Bettina, What ummm oh is it abc cbs??

I hate to miss it! That is so huge of you to go on and share on this.

I have a dear friend who's ex stole his girls. Gads my memory sucks. His name is Walter, he has a plant nursery over He is a great advocate.

I will have to put my dvr to record all doc phils so I don't miss it.

Would love to hear your thoughts about him. I was shocked how much he and I think so alike on so many different things. I always thought i was a nutcase as I thought so differently.

well maybe I am but I relate to him and his wife.

HEY let us know, don't feel bad! Geez you give tons of esh here and a valued member of the family!

I'll be looking forward to see it also Bet...I had my kids snatched by my exaddict
and a member of her organization and the police and district attorney facilitated
the snatch even when he admitted to the ex that he was wrong.   Crazy and
painful...lots of time to learn forgiveness and reform relationships with them
now that the insanity for us (me and my current spouse) is over.  It took 17
years of enabling before it came to an end.   Sure did mess up a bunch of
family...We still have and are taking the time to heal.   thank you HP.

Wow Bettina

I am not sure I will be able to catch the show but I would love to hear your story if you would share it.
My aunts exh who was a mexican national kidnapped thier child and fled to mexico.
This was over 50 yrs ago
Obviously no laws concerning that back then so the police were if no help
Thankfully she had the resouces to hire a private investigator to go into Mexico and find her son. Once the investigator found him she went down there herself with his birth cerfificate and snatched him back and brought him back to the US.
