Hi sunflower, I like that song too and how it kinda 'boosts me up' and helps me to think "ya, I can do this!!".

I love most music but right now, no particular song comes to mind... if I think of something, I'll post! :)

So, to post a video, copy the URL (looks like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGJuMBdaqIw) and then come here and click on the button above that looksl like film.

Paste (cntl + v) in the URL when the window pops up and hit ok. Done!

Oh, BTW Sunflower - I remember when I started feeling exactly how you are when doing my 4th step.

I was worried it would be temporary.

It isn't. If you keep working it, keep striving, keep loving - and don't let people bring you down .....................

You can feel like a firework everyday and it just keeps getting BETTER!!!

This song does the same for me. Last year I took my son to Disneyland as he was trying to kill himself at six years old. The courses and psychologist didn't help either. I decided to take him on a trip to Disneyland to give him something to look forward to.

On the plane he stated that he hoped the plane would crash so he didn't have to keep trying to kill himself. On the way home he stated he hoped the plane wouldn't crash as I promised to take him to Disneyland for Halloween every year.

This year we went as a family with dad there too. While we were all watching the Halloween fireworks that song came into my head and there I was standing there holding back tears under the lit sky with our family together. That was the greatest gift.

Recovery has changed our world. You just reminded me that when I am feeling overwhelmed and like I want to punch my A out, all I need to do is listen to that song and remember what this is all for.

Thank you as it has been a rough day and I really needed that.
