Same to you Carol!  I will be with my family - and they have already started complaining and listing their demands and I am getting plenty of opportunity to work my program and practice, practice, practice! 

I will personally be thankful when it is over.

But I know I have a LOT to be grateful for and they love me.  Trying to just let the rest go . . . something about a ducks back ? ? ?  LOL

Thanks for the sweet note.  I too hope that those that can not be with family can find things to be grateful for.

Carol  if your attending meetings for yourself  call the Alano club in your area on holidays they usually have open AA meetings around the clock ,everyone welcome there is no reason to be alone and often the club has turkey dinner too.  enjoy ---- Louise

abby, there's a dinner at my alano club, but they wanted everyone to contribute; it's a potluck, so I can't go.

No alkathon, either nearby cause I don't drive, but I am going to be online all day off and on.

I will check the 9pm alanon meeting tonight and see if anyone is there.

I am still holding on, and will not have dinner with my roommate.

I already had a wonderful dinner yesterday with Dane and Ani.
