Well surgery went well....strange thing though, my wife pointed out that there was no script for antibiotics. though that was automatic with surgery. Now they did have an IV antibiotic going before and during surgery, it is arthroscopic as well...but I'll call tomorrow...we didnt' realize it until later in the day when wife picked up scripts from cvs. Let feels amazingly well. I can put weight on it already but am taking it easy at least for today and tomorrow. LOL...wife has been very, very helpful....so helpful I can't wait for her to go to work tomorrow.....LOL...typical guy or what????
thanks again everyone....this won't be a big deal at all.....funny but discomfort and inconvenience pale in comparison to the mental anguish I go through at times.
So glad that things turned out so well. It's nice that the wife could be so helpful, very nice. Rest much and take good care of yourself. Sometimes getting looming things out of the way makes for a better outlook.
Glad you are already on the mend...great news They do not always order antibiotics after surgery, I know they didn't after my neck surgery. And you are less likely to get an infection at home than you are in the hospital. Will you join us for our morning meeting here tomorrow???? I know i keep bugging you about that but would love to meet you and talk real time. Keep taking care of yourself Blessings
Glad it went well! Now don't be the "typical guy" and over do things until you're healed.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could... Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Emerson
Having been through so many lots of surgery in the last ten years I do know a thing or two about recovery and have learnt valuable lessons. However, I unlike you live alone and I have had to get up and do things when ideally it would have been better not to.
Little and often is the key, and Keep moving to stop the "rust" setting in does help, although learning to walk before I can run is also key.
It is all about balance. Keep smiling, and find things to laugh about - that gets the endorphins flowing which help with recovery.
Keeping you in my prayers. God bless
Suzannah
