here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
That is the theme for our Fall Assembly with this being the 4th year again we are the host again. I won't be crusing MIP but working it locally. Have got 66 members in service to the area coming to our side of the island and it will be super just like the last 2 I've done service with. The GRs and DRs will arrive and hold up a page with a blue Triangle with the open center (Al-Anon Logo) so that we will see them at the airport. The phrase "we're home" will be on it also. They're all family and many are familiar however the newbies will be in the group too and there will be ((((hugs)))) all around. Lots of business for them to do however there will be two "speaker" meetings and Saturday night we will have the traditional "Night Owl" candle light (flameless) meeting with about 80 in attendance and great off island shares. I am happily looking forward to it while at the same time trying to stay in the moment. I go thru withdrawals when I slip into thinking that it will come to an end on Sunday also. Don't know why I do that however I'm working on it...Focus, Focus, Focus.
