The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
For those of you who might be interested, this topic has to do with Parental Abduction, which 200,000. children are abducted by one of their parents in this country every year.
As you have heard me mention from time to time. This happened to me way back in 1974 when my daughter was 6. Didnt find her until she was 12, wanted nothing to do with me, we were reunited again when she was 24 as she seeked me out, but the journey to being reunited was a long journey, she is 43 now. The bonds had been broken and we had to put our relationship back together.
My point to this is my daughter and I were guests on the Dr. Phil show to tell our story and to follow another story that has been profiled in the news, where he is trying to be reunited with his kids that were taken 15 years ago and extradite his x wife back to the USA. She is wanted by the FBI for fleeing the country with the children.
The show will air October 21st, on channel 2 here in Calif. I guess you will have to look and see what time it would be on in your area.
I think you will find the show very informative and useful and touching.

I have it noted the show on my calendar. You have such clarity, wisdom and compassion that I am sure that the hour with Dr Phil and you will be very informative.
I know what a painful situation you have endured and your process of healing I am looking forward to the program.
I wish I had cable or satelite tv to watch Dr. Phil. I guess he has had some good shows about all of this recently... I unfortunately can't afford the bills for cable or satelite, so I can only wish you luck and love :)
