Took my mom today to get a biopsy of her tongue. We woln't know the results until Wednesday.
I am asking all to send a prayer please. She is the glue that holds this family together. She is sometimes a pain in my rear but I love her with all I am.
My mom is giving, caring, loving and kind. She is the eyes for my dad who has macular degeneration. She is the legs to my Aunt that can hardle walk. She is the mind to my other Aunt who is senile...Above all she is my mom whom to me is one of the most precious gifts God has ever given me.
I, too, hold you and your Mum in my prayers, Andrea. Will be thinking of you both on Wednesday and praying you have the strength to cope with whatever the results bring.
You have had so much to contend with. I hope there is some respite for you soon. I hope the holiday season is one of peace and happiness for you and your extended famiily. My prayers are with you. I went once for an oral cancer check and was so scared. Biopsies don't necessarily have to be bad news, some of them are treatable or not significant at all. Let's hope it is one of those.
