weaning off effexor/Eden update

yuck. This is tough. I am emotionally fine. But I tell ya, this is a drag. I got to none but was not feeling right.

Doc told me to do it more gradual.

Woke up feeling icky so took some. Will get over it yet! (c:

All is great here, animals are all fat, Peaches horse looks like a yellow cow....Pony Pete had a bad cut on back hmm by foot, it is lots better. Lotsa fun trying to keep a used to be wild horse pony still. He actually did great.

Elgin horse dragged feed out of my car I call my mobile barn. He is nice and fat again, and my car is covered in horse slobber, and he licks the windows....he dragged chicken feed out by mouthfuls, got it down my window so it won't open.

Barbecue horse anyone? He knows he is not to do that, soon as he hears me coming out the door he jumps, bumps his head then looks at me, uh oh moms out!

I have chicks coming out of my ears. Close to 40 I don't do this on purpose. shaking head. But I cannot stand it if I don't bring them all into the room on my deck as the cats eat them like popcorn. ick

Have a foster dog, Pele, who is a French Mastiff dogue de something. Remember Turner and Hooch?  Hooch is her grampa. (Tom Hanks movie) She is 8, divorce thing. Such a nice dog.

pigs are good.Sadly hard to say 3 are not doing well. They are sooo old. so old. one I think is passing. My sam. he was my friend Meri who died, pot pig.

I am constantly keeping pools filled, and even keeping the ponds filled some. they love to lay in the warm mud.

Fred my over 100 pound sulcata tortoise, well he got out, went on a walkabout on the endless pasture/woods next to me! NOT GOOD.  I hunted my pasture first, no Fred. So started in the tall grass for an hour. Then thought, ok he will stay on the fence  line. Started to follow this flattened grass. It went under scratchy things, so it was not a deer trail, too big for a cat.

Ok half a mile later, getting dark, my legs are all scratched up, I cannot believe it, there he was all snuckered down. I thought he was dead. I lifted his arm, down it went PLOP. oh NOOOo. I moved him with my foot, he put his head up like what the heck?

gads. so now what?  He is next to field fence then barb wire then maybe 5 feet to the road. I try to hold down fence with my foot, pull him over. right.

He is disoriented, and actually scared.

I have my kerchief, a car goes by, I yell HELP HELP HELP!! The car back up, out pops a lady about my age, hippie like gal. (o: She says she asked her daughter if she heard what she thought she did. lol

So she holds down fence, I grab Freds arms and pull him to safety, well ,"safety he says?
" His nose was pointing downward into the ditch! I get him to walk to the road. Half mile from home and her little car is full of  one huge t shepherd.

We start walking, oh and about a half dozen cats are with me, not my choice. but it was very nice of them.

I watch a few cars go by, pickup stops but she has a sleeping baby in with her so I said never mind.

One of those rectangular suvs comes by. I am walking Fred in late dusk with a kerchief to one side of him so he things there is a barier there....he walks straight that way.

big of interesting info if you ever find yourself walking your 100-200 pound tortoise down the road....

They stop, she says,"What are YOU doing???" I thought what? what a weird thing to say! I say I am walking with my tortoise. I look closer and it is my neighbor who walks by every day with her mom! I grab her hand and kiss it and tell her I am soooo glad it is her. She is always catching me doing insane stuff.

I met her when my 5 llamas got out and I was chasing them down in my basically no shoes,no underwear, just a skirt and top. She gave me a ride to the gradeschool to herd them back...gads.

Anway they opened the back, her kids are thrilled, her husband not so much, but was nice.

lol they take him home I walk up behind, needed to get my composure so I could sorta sound like a sane person.

now what does that look like again?

Anway they drive him up my drive, they pick up a side and put him on the front porch on my dogs blanket.

wave bye, kids want to come back to see all the animals and ride elgin.I invited them, they are so excited. and I KNOW buggen the heck out of mom to come over here.

Fred comes in slowly, goes to his room and is out.zzzz

Next more he comes out, walks around, tries to fit in the dogs den under the table next to me, uh no fred. then he tries to get comfy on the dogs cot, nope. Then heads to Sauveys (great Pyr0 comforter and plops.

next thing I know, my very hairy shih tzu/Poodle Poppyboy is "bringing Fred his greens from his bedroom, putting them in front of him!!" I am not kidding.

animals are a trip.

Fred is not out in the 2/3's of an acre in front with the horses, dogs and occasional cat...chicken or guinea.

i was out chasing one tiny guinea chick before the cat got him. I ran my temple into an end of a panel square piece of metal about 4 inches long. omg I am in trouble. apply pressure, grab chick run and put chick in the guinea chick cage, flush stab wound, cover with sterile stuf,  take shower, holding blood in, dress, grab my service dog Fezzic, off to er. 7 stiches, fezzic was an angel. His pic on avatar. he sneezed, card on counter said you had to wear a mask if you sneeze or cough.

I will get a pic page thing going soon.  craziness i swear. Much better than living with ex AH I tell ya.

Things seem so calm now.quiet. But I am inside, outside...gads, I am sure Elgin has torn into the recycle going to dump in my truck, the dogs then get the cans to lick them out. Cat probably stuck on the roof again, cats are out of food and sheep is half sheared. "He" needed a break, been two days and he is half wooly...lol The goat musta thoght he needed a toupee as she has a huge clump of it stuck on her horns.

Well got another sulcata in salad plate size,Ahmee, going to rescue another boxkid today box turtle that is.

well least it all gets me off my bum.

Do you think a man will ever want to take me on???? sigh

hugs to ya all. debilyn feeling more abnormal and like me every day!

Sounds pretty magical to me, why wouldn't anyone want to be there? I kept thinking how far and fast can Fred go but I guess a big turtle can move pretty quick when he wants to LOL I sometimes wonder what the neighbor thinks of me too, this morning I got caught chasing the moostiff who thinks "come here" means run to the opposite side of the yard and lay down in my PJ's in front of the first day of practice football team running by. Oh the joys of living next to a high school smile.gif

Much love,
Jen
