So sad to hear of another loss of life to the disease of addiction. I pray that her soul will rest in peace and that your friend and her family can draw comfort from friends like you and through loving memories of their departed. The bad memories eventually fade, and are put in their true perspective.

Best wishes for peace and serenity for you, your friend and everyone who knew her mom. I lost my mom to alcohol just 4 weeks ago. Only time can heal.
