Can anyone share some tips on how to ask someone about sponsoring? It's time I did it, but I am fearful. What about online sponsoring? Any ideas would be most appreciated!
Aloha Kate...It is fearful to start however if you do your listening and watching of others in the program and discover assets and skills you want for yourself like I did the next thing is to ask...several things could happen next and hopefully the one that will happen is a yes. If you get something else don't take it personal...go to the next person and the next until you get that person who will hold the flashlight to the trail and guide you onward. My HP cheered when I went for a sponsor...I guess my HP was all laughed out and watching me try to find my own way. Ouch!! In support ((((hugs))))
Take your time Kate , jerry has given u some great suggestions , a sponsor is a guide andmakes this trip much easier .. On line sponsorship just dosent cover it for me I have tried it a couple of times nothing beats f2f for me . good luck you will find her keep looking and as we suggest stick with the same sex F--were way to vulnerable to confuse the issue with someone from the oposite sex .
