Dear MIP family and friends - I am very sorry for not being available to chair the past 2 Friday morning meetings and for not making prior arrangements to ensure that the meeting was covered.
For last week, I have no excuse other than just poor planning on my part. I was attending camp with my son that week and simply overlooked getting someone else to chair the meeting ahead of time.
As for yesterday, I ended up spending the morning in the ER with my son after he lost an argument with a ceiling fan at his friend's house. He was spending the night and was asleep on a cushion on the floor when the fan came out of the ceiling and landed on his head. Bless his heart, he as several facial fractures, including a broken nose along with 15+ stitches. He's at home and doing well and there's a good possibility that he won't have to have surgery to repair the fractures, but we won't know about that for sure for a couple of weeks.
Hopefully things will get back to routine (I hesitate to say 'normal', LOL) and I will see all who care to join me at the morning meeting next Friday.
This is life on life's terms. I'm glad your son is healing. Seeing as this is the Blame it on Karilynn weekend, I am going to go backwards and allow you to blame it on me retroactively. Sounds like you need it. Much love and blessings to you and your family.

I agree with Life on Lifes Terms but not on blame Karilynn...Uh uh!! Glad it wasn't so much more worse for your son and your self and the people whose house he was at. Just another easy task for HP. Makes me think about laying on the floor under the ceiling fans I've installed around my place...gonna check that out.
